HARD SUMMER 2017

ahhh, so we meet again. me and HARD Summer have history. a few years back i attended this festival for the first time, and i’m forever thankful that i did. HARD is what i consider my first EDM festival, for the fact that it was the festival that introduced me to electronic dance music and the community within. when they announced the 2017 edition i was ecstatic to purchase tickets and start planning my fits! keep reading to get insight on my outfits, the festival, and the artists!

HARD Summer takes place in the middle of july in the san bernadino area of california, so i always know to expect heat! so, i dress accordingly! i started planning my outfits for this festival 4 months in advance. i searched the internet for DAYS trying to find a designer, then i came across @ragsorriches and knew that i needed a custom piece made! she specializes in custom metal mesh clothing, so i literally drew her a sketch of what i wanted done and she brought it to life!

hard summer switched locations last minute and announced it would be taking place at glen helen amphitheater! it was gonna be my first time at the venue, so i was excited to see what the hype was about! i was very surprised with the ease and togetherness the festival had. compared to previous years, this was the first time i felt they knew what they were doing. (and i think they have the glen helen staff to thank!) i do love the speedway, but i wouldn’t be against a 2018 hard summer at glen helen.
